Sew-Deluxe is an artist-owned studio space that strives to inspire and promote the Do-It-Yourself ethic by providing a supportive and fun environment for the free exchange of ideas between all skill levels.
Sew-Deluxe offers sewing and crafting technique classes and project-based workshops for guests of all ages. We also provide lounge hours for guests to utilize the tools and equipment in the studio with assitance from our experienced staff at a nominal fee.
The studio and staff can be rented for private parties. The facility is also used to host events that promote the business and it's DIY philosophy.
Sew-Deluxe serves as an exclusive retailer for hand crafted art, fashion, and wares made by the members of the Alamo City Craft Union. In addition, DIY kits and a well-edited selection of fabrics and notions can be purchased in the store.
Sew Deluxe also offers a comfy couch and well stocked crafty library where guests can relax with a cup of complimentary coffee or tea and find inspiration for their next project.
